It accelerates from 0 to 60 Mph in 6.4 seconds, through the slalom it's actually quicker than an Impreza WRX and then there's handsome looks of it; I can only imagine what a stunner it must be in black.
Mazda proves with the new 6, that YES, you can make a cool family sedan.

and who is stopping and swerving to avoid something? you're talking about a fucking variable. i drive on the road, out of the direction of things that will make my car crash! do you and your people AIM for deer to avoid? I live in the NJ wildlife reserve which is woods and mountains, I dont see anyone crashed. and most people here have SUVs. you're not special. just maybe a little SPECIAL... and after I switch to the WRX, I will be even further advancing in all weather capabilities.

all im sayin is, since we've resorted to immature comparrison, is that MY car is better than all three of yours. and you're canadian, so technically in this world, you dont really count do you? Pay stub. we call it cash money around here. an intelligent torque converting independant 4 way suspension with awd will absolutely outperform a 300lb (not kilo) less car. as far as SUV, i dont have one, i have the sickest mazda sedan ever built, the Mazdaspeed 6, not this new Ford that you're driving.

So what you are saying is you can stop and avoid something faster in a heavier automobile in the snow vs a lighter car?(assuming tires are equal) Fcuk you're stupid. I can't afford AWD - I have three cars you idiot, and I just bought a loaded 2009 6. Let's compare pay stubs punk.

when I'm done with this MS6 i'm getting the new 2009 subaru wrx sedan 265hp. If you drove an AWD everyday you'd understand why. just cuz you cant afford the extra 3k is no excuse for you being ignorant. everything you say is opinion, while I'm stating fact. 4x4 and higher center of gravity in snow is 100times better LOL. have you ever seen a Ruf try and drive in the snow? or Bam's Lambo? SUVs are specifically designed for that purpose. I dont get you. you rested your case so stay shut up.

My other point is AWD is overrated - more weight, more gas, less performance. You do have a pont with auto-cross - who gives a crap about auto-cross. For the 5 days of unplowed roads a year, it's not worth the money. You people in 4x4's drive me nuts. I know when a AWD system has it's advantages - you are to blind to see it's disadvantages. What award or comparison did the MS6 ever win? I rest my case. To get this back on track - I just ordered the new Mazda6 !!

Everyone ending up in ditches and around poles in the winter are driving SUV's. The fact is if you car is heavier and a higher center of gravity you perform WORSE in the snow EXCEPT when you are excelerating - turning and stopping is worse. That's my point.

AWD SUVs can also handle snow better than your car, i dont get what you're trying to prove? the Mazdaspeed 3 is a hideous car thats only shines in a straight line. although it does have good zoom zoom curvy road tech, it only works in dry weather dude. also, as far as weather goes, an SUV is a good decision. you're just an idiot.
userms3 on November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am
right - tell that to all the SUV owners!!
BoostNinjas on November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am
and as far as snow goes, you DONT need to know how to drive in snow for this car to handle. THATS THE DIFFERENCE. |
