LFS is an independently produced game made by about 4 people. It's one of the most realistic racing simulations. You really need a force feedback wheel to play but its worth it so much. I bought an S2 license the other day and I'm never off it. There are no driving assists so you do all the driving. You can get a demo license on their website. GRID is an arcade racer.. so is NFS so if your looking for realism, go for LFS :)

iv played grid and its soooooo good u should get it it has the most realistic crashes iv seen and damages to the only good nfs games are the undergrounds because most wanted carbon and undercover are the same bad handling and such but grid also has better graphics the all the games u listed the racing is accually nice and realistic theres also tons of cars u can get from it and different modes the game is huger than all these other ones and u can do the lemans racing and good drifting its just..

Lfs has been around for awhile, I am a major race fan, and on a drift team on LFS, LFS is the most realistic expierence, grid racing sucked, just cool crashes, and nfs is always arcade.

well if you want a racing simulator like gran turismo except better physics and a realistic game get this... but you'll probably need a PC controller because its REALLY REALLY difficult with the keyboard :)
